November 4, 2003 - Bountiful, Utah Kathy Richards Joins Hess Corporate Travel To Develop New Business Hess Corporate Travel, Northern Utah's leading travel management consulting and advisory firm specializing in business travel operations, is pleased to announce the addition of Kathy Richards to its executive team. As Director of Business Development, Richards brings 19 years of travel industry experience in corporate, meetings, group, and incentive sales to the Hess organization. She organized and led group tours and cruises, handled convention sales, and negotiated rates on behalf of clients. Using her strength in value-added customer service, Richards has also conducted training seminars for corporate travelers and managers. In her new position, she is responsible for leading the sales efforts of Hess's corporate division. Richards will work closely with Hess team members to oversee account management and operations. Her objective is to help increase and develop the corporate, meeting, group, and incentive travel programs for existing and prospective clients. Along with Richards, Hess Corporate Travel recently gained four seasoned agents from a major local competitor. Richards has long-standing relationships with many prominent regional businesses. She will use her extensive business travel management background in continuing those relationships and in cultivating new opportunities with prospective clients in the Utah area and beyond.
